Hope Lutheran Church
In our worship life together volunteers offer their gifts each month to contribute to services that most regard as formal and traditional. While the obvious way to participate is simply by being present to offer your voice in worship, praise, and prayer, there are countless opportunities for particular service as well. There is a place for you and your unique gifts.Contact the church office for more information.

In our worship life together, lectors offer their gift of reading a scripture lesson at our Sunday morning services. A monthly schedule of worship participants is e-mailed to those who will be reading. In addition, in the week before their assigned responsibility lectors receive a reminder and the text of the lesson they will be reading to study and prepare ahead of time. The usual frequency is once each month or every other month.
Ushers are a fantastic group of sincere, polite, observant and gracious folks who enthusiastically greet worshipers, gather offerings, count attendance at services, and guide worshipers to and from the Holy Communion.
No prior experience is necessary
Special services are also included in the duties of the ushering teams for memorial, funeral, and special worship services on an as needed basis as available. Contact the Church Office if you’d like to become an usher.
